Xi Wei is a high-potency, dual-action fungicide and bactericide designed for both prevention and cure. It combines a biological antibiotic (Kasugamycin) with an organic copper compound (Oxine-copper) to provide a broad spectrum of protection against difficult-to-treat diseases in flowers, succulents, and vegetables.
- Active Ingredients: 72% Total (9% Kasugamycin + 63% Oxine-copper).
- Formulation: Water Dispersible Granules (WDG).
- Target Pathogens: Effectively controls Bacterial diseases (Leaf Spot, Canker, Soft Rot) and Fungal diseases (Downy Mildew, Anthracnose, Scab).
- Key Feature: High safety profile with low toxicity. It features excellent rain-fastness and provides long-lasting protection.
Key Benefits
- Dual-Action Power: Kills bacteria and fungi simultaneously, making it an ideal "all-in-one" solution when the exact cause of a plant's spots or wilting is unknown.
- Strong Systemic Activity: Rapidly absorbed by plant tissues, meaning it works from the inside out to stop the spread of infection.
- Minimal Resistance: The combination of two different chemical classes makes it much harder for pathogens to develop resistance.
- Eco-Friendly: Low residue and low toxicity to humans and pets when used as directed.
User Manual & Application Guide
1. Application Method: Foliar Spray
This is the most effective way to use this product. The granules must be dissolved in water and sprayed onto the plant surfaces.
- Dilution Ratio: 1:1000 to 1:1500.
- Preparation: Dissolve the 10g pack in 10–15 liters (approx. 2.5–4 gallons) of water.
- Coverage: Spray both the top and underside of the leaves until they are evenly wet but not dripping excessively.
2. Recommended Usage Scenarios
- Preventative: Apply once every 10–15 days during humid or rainy seasons when diseases are likely to strike.
- Curative: If spots or rot appear, spray immediately. Repeat once every 7 days for a total of 2–3 applications.
- Wound Protection: After pruning or taking cuttings, a light spray can prevent bacteria from entering the open "wounds."
3. Target Plants
- Succulents: Excellent for "Black Spot" and bacterial "Soft Rot."
- Roses: Effective against Black Spot and Canker.
- Orchids: Prevents and treats brown rot and bacterial leaf spot.
- Vegetables: Controls bacterial leaf streak and downy mildew.
⚠️ Pro Tips & Safety
- Timing: For best results, spray in the early morning or late evening to avoid direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn on wet foliage.
- Mixing: Do not mix with highly acidic or highly alkaline pesticides/fertilizers.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry, and ventilated place. Ensure it is out of reach of children and pets.
- Hygiene: Avoid inhaling the spray mist and wash hands thoroughly with soap after application.
