1. Organic Base (Water & Nutrient Retention)
  • Long-fiber Peat (长纤维泥炭): The "sponge" of the mix. It provides the primary organic matter and high water-holding capacity without collapsing, which prevents the soil from becoming a muddy mess.
  • Fermented Pine Bark (发酵松鳞): This is the "Pine Scale" component. It mimics a forest floor, offering a stable structure that breaks down very slowly and provides a natural, slightly acidic environment.
2. Inorganic Structure (Aeration & Drainage)
  • Hard Perlite & Pumice (硬质珍珠岩 / 轻石): These provide the "skeleton" of the soil. They create permanent air pockets and ensure that excess water drains out instantly.
  • Akadama & Kanuma (赤玉土 / 鹿沼土): High-end Japanese volcanic clays. Kanuma is more acidic (perfect for blue hydrangeas or azaleas), while Akadama provides excellent CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity), meaning it "grabs" fertilizer and releases it to the roots over time.
  • Hyuga Stone (植金石): An extremely hard, porous stone that never compacts, ensuring the bottom of the pot doesn't become waterlogged.
3. Soil Health & Protection
  • Bamboo Charcoal (竹炭粒): Acts as a filter to absorb impurities and inhibit bacterial growth, which is critical for "closed" indoor environments where air circulation is poor.
